INSPIRAÇÕES

O projeto de coleção buscou trazer inspirações genuinamente brasileiras, a fim de valorizar a identidade brasileira partindo da temática da flora como ponto de encontro entre Roberto Burle Marx e a tribo indígena Xikrin. A pesquisa se concentrou na tribo indígena Xikrin, esta que é localizada no estado Pará, com uma vasta cultura e pinturas corporais riquíssimas.

Enquanto que Roberto Burle Marx, que atuou em diversas áreas como profissional: artista plástico, paisagista e arquiteto. Para este projeto, tem-se em foco sua profissão como paisagista, em que valorizava as plantas nativas do Brasil.

The collection project sought to bring genuinely Brazilian inspirations in order to value the Brazilian identity based on the theme of flora as a meeting point between Roberto Burle Marx and the indigenous Xikrin tribe.The research focused on the Xikrin Indian tribe, which is located in the state of Pará, with a vast culture and rich body paintings. While Roberto Burle Marx, who has worked in several areas as a professional: plastic artist, landscape architect. For this project, he has focused on his profession as a landscaper, in which he valued the native plantsof Brazil.

DESIGN TÊXTIL

O design têxtil desenvolvido na disciplina de Design de Superfícies Têxteis teve como inspiração o tema da coleção RAÍIDE: a flora como ponto de encontro entre Roberto Burle Marx e a tribo indígena Xikrin. Até chegar a um processo de definição do design têxtil foram desenvolvidos diversos testes.

A superfície têxtil foi criada a partir do procedimento construtivo, que envolve a aplicação de um material sobre o outro. O tecido, base, utilizado foi o atoalhado na cor preta e o aviamento escolhido fora fitas elásticas de lingerie. As fitas são costuradas sobrepostas umas às outras de forma aleatória, a fim de unir o orgânico com o geométrico.

The textile design developed in the discipline of Design of Textile Surfaces was inspired by the theme of the collection RAÍIDE: the flora as a meeting point between Roberto Burle Marx and the indigenous Xikrin tribe. Until a process of definition of the textile design was reached, several tests were developed. The textile surface was created from the constructive procedure, which involves applying one material over the other. The fabric, base, used was the cloth in black color and the choice chosen was elastic bands of lingerie. The ribbons are sewn overlapping each other in a random fashion, in order to join the organic with the geometric.

A estamparia da coleção RAÍIDE buscou caminhos diferenciados com inspiração nos grafismos indígenas das pinturas corporais da tribo estudada e das formas contidas nos jardins de Burle Marx. A ideia é a de trazer uma atmosfera com cores alegres, vivas e extrovertidas.

Dessa forma, o processo criativo esteve intimamento interligado ao desenvolvimento das estampas. Foram produzidos sketchs em folhas de papel vegetal em cima de imagens da tribo indígena e do paisagista. Assim, eram extraídas algumas formas das imagens, e consequentemente transformadas ou adaptadas de acordo com a estética da designer Marina de Lara Bertollo. Sendo o resultado, a ideia de estampas maximizadas, como um rapport que envolve o corpo, que abraça a nossa brasilidade.

The printing of the RAÍIDE collection sought different paths inspired by the indigenous graphics of the body paintings of the tribe studied and the forms contained in the Burle Marx gardens. The idea is to bring an atmosphere with cheerful, lively and extroverted colors.

In this way, the creative process was interrelated to the development of the prints. Sketches were produced on sheets of vegetal paper on top of images of the Indian tribe and the landscaper. Thus, some form of the images were extracted, and consequently transformed or adapted according to the aesthetics of the designer Marina de Lara Bertollo. Being the result, the idea of maximized prints, like a rapport that involves the body, that embraces our Brazilianness.
